We value education, and understand that Nature is the original teacher.
We value well-being: spiritual, mental and physical.
We respect the cosmos as inherently whole and complete.
We vow to preserve and protect Mother Nature and all the elements: Fire, air, water and earth.
We consider community in the broadest possible sense, including all our relations
We value our elders and our ancestors and are thankful to them for what they have bestowed upon us.
We value children and our future generations (seedlings), and are thankful to them for who they are and what they will accomplish.
We value students, and enable them to follow the passion of their inquiry.
We value collaboration and partnership in teaching, learning and administration.
We value interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research and recognize that any field can be informed by all other fields – that all subjects are interconnected.
We value careful thinking, speech and action; and consider our actions in terms of their effect on seven generations.
We consider all experience a blessing and opportunity for learning; we are not afraid to make mistakes as long as we learn from them.
