Chester is a Navajo martial arts master, a fourth degree black belt who works with synesthesia (combination of sounds and colors in visualization and healing work).

Phillip H. Duran of Tigua Indian heritage is a former faculty member and dean of Science and Mathematics at Northwest Indian College. His main interest is in linking indigenous worldviews with science.

"Voice in the Land"
Larry Littlebird (Laguna/Santo Domingo) is a nationally known storyteller, coach, actor, filmmaker, and author of Hunting Sacred - Everything Listens: A Pueblo Man's Oral Tradition Legacy. Founder of White Dawn House, White Dawn House, Larry is working toward restitution and restoration among first Nations People.

A featured actor in Richardson Morse's "House Made of Dawn". A film adapted from the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by N. Scott Momaday, recently restored by the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian from the 1972 film. Special screening of this film to be presented by SEED on April 8th at the Guild at 2pm, 3405 Central Ave. NE (two blocks west of Carlisle in Nob Hill) with reception at 4pm at SEED. The cost for entry into the screening will be $15.

Proceeds from the screening of House Made of Dawn will go to benefit White Dawn House, a Native non-profit organization in Albuquerque. The mission of White Dawn House is focused on healing historical wounds and generational grief for First Nations people. Current projects include: Voice in the Land, a memorial wall for First Nations people, "Healing the Hurts" talking circles and leadership programs and Haadtsi, a community land cooperative to empower Native people to regain ownership and stewardship rights to land beyond present reservation borders - to revitalize cultural identity and rebuild healthy, vibrant and productive communities., White Dawn House is committed to their long range goal to foster greater cross-cultural understanding leading to reconciliation between peoples and healing in the land, resulting in committed actions of restitution and restoration for indigenous people.
