Indigenous Elders of America: Elders Component of SEED Institute
The Friends of the Indigenous Elders shall provide technical assistance and support to the Indigenous Elders who intend to promote the Human Rights and Self-Determination of Indigenous Peoples, the environmental care and protection of ecosystems, the preservation and utilization of Indigenous Scientific Knowledge.
The Friends of the Indigenous Elders shall provide support for the gathering, recording and dissemination of the work and traditional teachings of Indigenous Elders; the preservation, protection and perpetuation of the Traditional Beliefs, Values and Principles of the Spiritual Knowledge, cultures, languages, wisdom and teachings of Indigenous Peoples; and the support of other indigenous social, economic, health, educational and charitable activities.
